Two (very late)

1st attempt trying to get her to blow her candles out

2nd failed attempt ^^^

Happiest 2nd Birthday little love!

In the short two years of your life, you have taught me more than I have learned in two decades. Your loved ones love you something fierce. I am proud, every minute, to be your mom. You are brilliant...not just ordinarily smart. You have been blessed with the desire to learn that inspires me. You love deeply. You define sassy. And you sing loudly.

Everything about who you are makes me look differently about who I want to be...for you.

Your dad is your secret admirer. Who am I kidding? He doesn't keep it a secret at all. He usually swoops in to save you from me. You have learned, and used it  to your advantage.

Emmett sort of adores you. Everything....about you. He is aching to get up and join you. To mimic you. And, I'm sure, to love on you. Remember he is watching. Try to be a good example. Be kind. He wants to be your friend. I am sure you will do your best.

Reagan, remember how special you are. You are everything to your family. And your Heavenly Father.

I love you always,

Mom

To remember:
You speak many sentences.
You know your letters and numbers.
You know that each letter in the alphabet is the begining of certain words. i.e- "f" is for flower, "a" is alligator, "i" is for ice cream, "l" is for lion, etc.
You sing the "temple song", the "abc's", and "twinkle little star"
You woke up one morning and everything was yours, "That's MY..."

4 and 22 Months

Happy 4 months Stud Muffin (a few days late)

You.make.us.so.happy. You smile almost every minute, the rest of the minutes are used filling your drawers. Looking up at your sister is your favorite hobby. You and I have a serious crush on each other. You're dad is ready to play baseball with you, but I'm not ready for you grow (at all) yet. Your sister and you are best friends, and will be I'm sure forever.
Love your laugh. Love your smile. Love your sweet sweet peacemaker spirit.

Love always,
Mom

(yeah sometimes she snacks on crunchy peanut butter)

Dear Rea

You have so much sass. I'm not sure how it all fits in such a small body. With the limited vocabulary that you have, you find a way give me attitude now and then. And yet, you are so, so, sweet, and loving. You give your brother, dad, and I more loves than we deserve. But we are grateful for every single one. You say "hi" to everyone that we pass (always makes them smile).  You're so nurturing. So kind to little brother. You seem to be the center of each others' little worlds already! Remember that he looks up to you. Try to remember that when other things in life fail you, you will still have him. And of course your dad and I. Reagan you have taught us more than I feel like I will EVER be able to teach you. And boy, do you love to learn. "What's that? What's that" seem to be the majority of the words that come out of your mouth lately. You love to sing and dance. And you REALLY love to play with mommy and daddy. You always say "hand, hand, hand!" Which is your way of asking us to please give you our hand and come sit and read a book or have a tea party. But you are also quite independent and already have a beautiful imagination. I will always be here for you. No matter what. Really though....no matter what. My love is unconditional.

Love you little one,

Mom

Time for Change

These littles are the most honest, true form of perfect.

I, however, am very far from it.

Being their mom is my calling in life. A title I carry quite proudly.

I, with lots of dad's help, have to teach them.......everything.    No pressure, right?

Looking into their faces each day inspires me in what ways I'd like to teach them.

I have a lot of work to do, to become who they deserve.

Wish me luck!
