still worth sharing....

this happened quite a while ago...
and I guess I got busy
and forgot to post it.
it was too good not to post...

Anytime Isaac is around and he hears the babes make a peep
from her crib he runs to go get her.
WELL...
one day when this happened, it was taking FOREVER.
after a bit I heard giggling....

and then....

going in the books in making my top ten of
my favorite memories!

P.s A shout out, blog style, still needs to go out to Noelle Doman.
An amazing artist. Who just thinks to herself,
"I know I have an art project due, why not make it AMAZING
and something my sister-in-law and her family could cherish forever."

I know right?
I was thinking the same thing!

Solo Sunday

Sometimes the hubs has to work Sundays...
Which is the stinkiest part of his job!
Sundays are days of worship and just plain ole' family days, not people shopping at TSA and making it so my husband has to work days...(am I right?)
So I get to take my little lady to church on my own.
It makes getting anything out of church, very difficult, as she fights napping on us.
But it is going and trying that matters right?

now, even though she acts like I have given her baby crack the minute we touch the threshold of the church building....

I am glad to have her!

shes a goof ball!

ear print from Reagan (finally) taking a nap.

having her boyfriend being there is helpful.

but let me introduce my lifesaver for the day.....
Grandma Olsen!

I have known her as long as I have lived. Well at least I knew of her until I was 8
and then we moved here and was able to meet her.
She is my mom's, best friend in the entire world growing up, Maria Olsen Nate's mom....
and we just happened to move into her ward several months ago.

she took little Reagan on a ride around the church for almost all of Relief Society
so I could actually hear and enjoy the meeting.
I adore her

life is oh so good.

besides my cute husband
and my little lady...

the things that are making me the happiest today are....
drumroll please....

-baby Phebs (Phoebe Allyson Fullmer, catchy I think) will be making her debut at the very latest in TWO DAYS.

 what will she look like...?

Ainsley Isabella, such a beauty. With her blonde hair and sky blue eyes.

And Emerson Michele with plenty of dark brown hair and deep rich blue eyes.

she'll be another little beauty!

-my dear long lost bestie will be coming in a week and two days!

(the girl's coming too)

-beautiful cousin Rach made it through a tough day with a couple extra bucks to spare....

Instead of being tossed in jail and having to be bailed out, she got out lucky and only had to pay a small (ish) fine, and got to pay for her car to be fixed instead.
she's not the hardened criminal we all thought she was after all.

-even though this was yesterday, it is still on my mind... Cocoa Bean came up
with the most brilliant idea. They thought to themselves, "Our cupcakes
basically rock...why not add ice cream...Reeds Dairy ice cream..."
N.B.D
YUM.
What are these people trying to do to me? I am trying to be so good
and they are making it mostly difficult.
Let's just say they are NOT shy on the cupcake portions.

last but not least... we ordered Domino's medium take out pizza for the low price of 5.95 plus tax.
oh but wait, we paid $0 plus tax.
I ordered the pizza while Isaac was on his way, they said it would be ready in 15 minutes.
It took them 5 minutes extra so they insisted on giving it to us "FOR FREEEEEEEEEEEEEE"

ok...only if you insist.

P.s. EASTER

first we stopped by the porters for them (granny) to see her
in her Easter dress.
(we also had a Porter Easter dinner [made by the rockstar Lucy] Monday night when Papa Porter was no longer on call,
so he didn't have to rush and have dinner)
unfortunately...I did not take pictures of that event. G and G Davis were there for the fun.
We got to hear a story about our double Great Great (maybe another great...)  Grandfather...yes, I said double,
because he is both of my parents Great (maybe another great...) Grandfather.
it's legal.
It was neat to hear about what a great man he was.

 i get to keep them

  Egg Hunts

Grandma planted jelly beans then watered them with the kidos, for them to come back later and find that suckers had grown. Reagan thought that sounded good to her!

 decor

Easter basket for little one that will never know the difference.

sidenote...how cute is she?

3 for the price of 1

Babes go to the park. Oh Cade!

Tyson Todd is the definition of a stud. Only he could pull off both of these pairs of pants and still look so manly. He may or may not have peed his pants and a half hour ish later pooped his pants.

 Tyson and Ellie

Cannon and Cade
both too cute. I especially love Cade with his arm hanging over the stroller and his shirt hiked up as though he just finished a filling meal. hah

porter visits are the best. you get apples and Eskimo kisses. what more could you ask for.

Reagan your aunts (and family in general for that matter) sure are obsessed with you (me included). Don't let it go to your head.

Also a small section of this post needs to be dedicated to a short story of the longest day of
my life.

My dear cousin Rachel came up with a genius idea to do a day trip to SLC.
Sounds harmless...
About 15ish minutes on the road Rachel exclaimed, "Applesauce!
Strollers! We forgot them."
We had a group chat and decided that no mall in their right mind would not, NOT have rental strollers.

We went to IKEA first and found way too much.
As always, IKEA did not let us down.
They had devices to hold and easily relocate children
without running completely out of energy.
As well as have endless goodness for low prices.

City Creek Mall and Gateway for that matter, forget it.
They would prefer for you to loose feeling in your arms
and not be able to enjoy a single part of their facilities.

Yes, I realize, dramatized.
Frustrating.
however worse things could happen.

Rachel's rendition of our day is the best.

Cali has come and gone part 2

This trip, we made memories that will stay with us forever

Reagan's first trip to the beach (out of the womb), and,
even though it was a bit chilly...
she had lots of fun.

"Low Tide" at a local beach. We looked around to find
little ocean critters in the rocks.

 cold and tuckered out

Madi got very sick while we were there. She was excited for her cake
but wanted a little help blowing out the candles.

Abbie makes Tres Leches cupcakes in her spare time.
no big deal
oh and side note, they were low fat and tasted fantastic.

Top eats in the country. I ate at "St. Louis Bread Co." for 7 yrs of my childhood.
Come to find out, "Panera Bread Co." is the same thing...
only with many more locations.
I didn't even think to check for any near by when we got to Cali.
We were watching the t.v. and a commercial came on for Panera.
I got very excited and my sis in law informed me there there was one, literally around the corner.
Just about made the trip for me, getting to nibble on memories.

Isaac's oldest brother, Eli, meet us in Thousand Oakes for dinner.
A good night as a family. It was especially nice for these 3 of the 5 brothers to spend
time with each other.
and just a minor detail, I was spoiled again to go to another one of my favorite
eating spots, P.F. Changs. yum

Matt and Abbie are now the new owners of not just this one giant
palm tree, but TWO giant palm trees.
oh...and a house!
It was fun to get to see it. It is the perfect size for them, with a little room to grow ;)
if they choose to do so....
very VERY happy for them.

baby girl is a fairly content shopper

for crying out loud... am I right?

Madi's "funnies"or just cute things during our stay:   (just turned 4 keep in mind)

  • Her dog, Chloe, would generally come every time Madi called her name. Best dog, with kids, I have ever seen! But on one occasion, Madi was calling "Chloe, Chloe, come here Chloe.." and when she did not respond, Madi said, "Or not..."
  •  While opening her birthday presents, she was having a little trouble and she said, "Um...can I get a little help here?"
  • Madi, Reagan and I were hanging out in the living room, and Madi ran off in the direction of her room, but turned immediately around and hurried back to ask, "Aunt Ally, could you watch baby Reagan for me for a minute while I get something?"        Sure of course Mads!
  • She absolutely loves to dance, we were able to witness this a tiny bit, even in the middle of a busy Nike outlet. Then the days after this she got too sick to feel up to dancing. Sad.
  • Once she whispered to me, "Aunt Ally, could you do me a huge favor...?" I told her of course and asked what I could do for her. Her response was plainly, "Yellow cheese."    Generally the two things she will eat are, first ice (sometimes she ventures out and has "colored ice" a.k.a. a popsicle, and second, yellow (or cheddar) cheese.
  • Oh and she loves singing. I got to hear her sweet spirit sing "I am a child of God" many times, and it never once got old.
the reason we took this trip was for family, and family alone.
as an after thought, truly, we were excited for some warm weather.
when we left home the high for the day was 69... the day we arrived in Cali, the high was 58.
Believe it or not, this turned out to be a blessing.
We found out at the half way point, to California, in St. George that,
long story short, we shouldn't touch our A/C, no joke.
We left very early in the morning, coming and going, to avoid to hottest times in the desert.

after many hours with the windows rolled down going 80...I will never take the, system for controlling the humidity, ventilation, and temperature in a building or vehicle, typically to maintain a cool atmosphere in warm conditions, for granted again.

being a mom. best job of my life.

we stopped in SLC, to see these two cuties for a day ish. Kardyn had just barely fallen on cement stairs, the day before this picture was taken. It was very traumatic for mom but Kardyn was SUCH a trooper, as you can tell in this picture. Also I couldn't resist a messy mouth shot.
We also got to see Lyss and Chris's new home too. So exciting!
